Being a data detective isn’t easy and sometimes you need a little guidance to get started. This presentation will cover basic tools and resources available to anyone with an internet connection, commonly misunderstood metrics of Google Analytics (GA) and how you can begin utilizing areas outside of just the GA overview to expand your mind palace and help you be on your way to becoming a data detective.

Jessica Hale studied nutritional sciences and epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma and has over a decade of experience with data and analytics, covering public health and medical research as well as  advertising and marketing. Her interesting path has provided her with an opportunity to have experience with varying sources and types of data, giving her a unique perspective on how to utilize data from all different sources in unison and seeing the synergy among them.
