For fifty years, Braum’s Ice Cream & Burger Restaurant has been a staple of fast food. The family-owned franchise operates nearly 300 locations across five states: Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. Despite their unique business model, Braum’s struggled to separate themselves from their competition and asked us to help improve their visibility.
In a highly competitive field, Braum’s wanted to make sure they were relevant when potential customers searched key items. When someone searched for “Ice Cream Near Me,” or “Best Hamburgers in Town,” Braum’s wanted customers to see their name near the top of the search results. The challenge was differentiating Braum’s from other businesses with similar products and services.
The team’s strategy included onsite and offsite tactics.
After extensive research, our team realized Braum’s needed unique landing pages for all 300 of its locations to show more specific details on engagement. In addition to creating these new pages, we also added accurate NAP (Name, Address, Phone) details, as well as store hours, in-store photography, and menu photography.
Meanwhile, offsite, the team worked to optimize store locations so that they were more visible in relevant searches on directories like Google, Bing, Yelp, and more.
The goal was to increase landing page visits by 15% in 12 months. To accomplish this, the team ensured all platforms had NAP (Name, Address, Phone) details for each location as well as store hours, in-store photography, and menu photography. Nutrition facts and other details were also added.
Once we employed these strategies, Braum’s saw an increase in overall website traffic by 49.69%, which exceeded the goal by 231.26%. Additionally, referral traffic increased 12.33%.
