BigWing’s 2019 Year In Review [Infographic]

2019 was undoubtedly a big year for BigWing.

For starters, we celebrated five years under the BigWing name and found ourselves under new ownership as our parent company, GateHouse Media, merged with Gannett, combining the No. 1 and No. 2 newspaper companies in the U.S. We were a pretty resourceful bunch before, but the merger increased our connections by, like, 89 bajillion percent.

Of equal importance, 2019 taught me (BigWing’s inbound marketing team manager) what a Salt Bae is, and what it means when my 20-something-year-old team members are “vibing,” when their food is “smacking,” and when their music is “slapping.”

Like I said, big, big year.
